Constable Murdo Nicholson

Inspector Murdo Nicolson

Murdo Nicholson, a native of Skye, joined the City of Glasgow Police and was stationed in the ‘D’ (Southern) Division.

On 19 November 1965, Constable Nicholson was on patrol when he became aware of a tenement fire at 19 Abbotsford Place, Gorbals, Glasgow.
